Client Standards, Confidentiality, Social Media & Reputation

LESSON 7 OF 8

Client Standards, Confidentiality, Social Media & Reputation

You represent more than yourself.

Staff may see backstage areas, incidents, celebrities, personal information, access codes or client operations. Do not share confidential information or use workplace access for personal social-media content.

Confidentiality+

Do not discuss client security arrangements, incidents, staffing levels, pass systems or private information with unauthorised people.

Photography+

Follow venue rules. Do not photograph backstage areas, restricted documents, CCTV screens, casualties or incidents on a personal phone.

Social media+

Do not post negative comments about clients, customers or colleagues from work, and never share operational information or footage.

Media enquiries+

Do not provide unofficial statements. Refer journalists or public enquiries to the authorised communications route.

Reputation is built shift by shift

A single careless post can damage client confidence and potentially compromise security or privacy.

Knowledge check

A friend asks you to send them a photo from a restricted backstage area. What should you do?
