Keep People Moving Safely
Circulation routes only work when they remain usable.
Monitor concourses, vomitories, stairs, gangways, barriers, accessible routes and exits. Do not allow standing, equipment or queues to create dangerous obstructions. Crowd behaviour in one area can affect another, so report developing conditions before they become critical.
Position discipline
A safety-critical post is part of the control system. Do not leave it without relief or instruction, even if another area appears busier.
