Conflict Scenarios & Final Assessment
Conflict Scenarios & Final Assessment
Choose the safest proportionate response, not the most confrontational one.
Apply the course to refusals, intoxication, complaints, group conflict and aggressive behaviour. Venue procedures and role-specific physical-intervention training always remain controlling requirements.
Refusal of entry+
A customer becomes loud after failing a ticket check. Acknowledge frustration, explain the route to resolve the ticket issue and avoid turning an admin problem into a personal argument.
Intoxicated group+
One person is aggressive and friends are filming. Keep distance, use one lead communicator, call support early and avoid inflammatory comments.
Complaint at a barrier+
A customer wants to enter a closed area. Explain the restriction and alternative route where possible. If they continue pushing the barrier, reassess risk and escalate.
Threat of violence+
When a credible threat or weapon appears, prioritise safety, distance, support and the venue emergency/security response rather than continued persuasion.
Stay calm, assess continuously, communicate clearly, maintain safe distance, call support early and document what happened.
Knowledge check
