Safeguarding, Vulnerability & Accessibility
Protect People Who Need Support
Vulnerability may be temporary, situational or linked to age, disability, intoxication, exploitation, distress or other circumstances.
Take safeguarding concerns seriously. Follow lost-child/found-child arrangements, never make promises of secrecy, and share information only with those who need it for safeguarding or operational reasons. Make reasonable adjustments and communicate respectfully with disabled and neurodivergent customers.
See the person, not the label
Ask what support is needed rather than assuming. Accessibility and dignity remain important during searching, queueing, evacuation and incident response.
