SIA Door Supervisor
Duties And Responsibilities of a Controlled Space employee
- Ability to work in a team or individually
- To provide a high standard of customer care
- Carry out pre-event checks of venues
- To ensure an even flow of people entering the venue / event at all times
- To monitor crowds for signs of overcrowding and difficulties in busy areas
- Make yourself aware of on site facilities and be ready for questions from members of the public
- Be ready to investigate any disturbances or incidents
- To respond to emergencies – by raising the alarm and providing necessary and appropriate immediate help and assisting the emergency services as required
Job requirements
- Flexible and willing/available to work at short notice (days, nights, evening and weekends) is essential
- Flexible and professional approach to work is essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills is essential
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is essential
- Confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations is essential
- Taking pride in your appearance as well as representing Controlled Space at all times is essential
- Eligible to work in the UK is essential
- Have a 5 year verifiable work history is essential
- Driving License is preferred
- Access to own vehicle is preferred
