Record What You Know, Not What You Assume
Accurate records protect staff, customers, clients and investigations.
Record date/time, location, people involved, your observations, exact words where important, actions taken, use of force if applicable, evidence, witnesses and who was informed. Distinguish what you personally saw from what somebody told you.
