Different Incidents Need Different Information
Give the details that help the response team prepare.
Medical+
Exact location, casualty count, consciousness/breathing where known, hazards and best access route.
Conflict+
Location, number involved, behaviour, weapons if seen, injuries and whether the situation is active.
Missing child/person+
Follow safeguarding procedure; pass descriptions and sensitive details through the approved route.
Fire/smoke+
Exact location, what you can see/smell, people at risk and whether evacuation has begun.
Suspicious item+
Do not handle it. Follow current security procedure and communicate from a safe location.
