Make Urgent Traffic Stand Out
Use the terminology and priority process given at the current briefing.
Do not invent emergency codes. If priority traffic is in progress, keep the channel clear unless your transmission is necessary for safety. Acknowledge instructions when required and ask for repetition if you did not understand.
Never guess an instruction
If a transmission is broken or unclear, ask for it to be repeated. Acting on a guessed instruction can worsen an incident.
