Security awareness is based on behaviour, circumstances and current intelligence—not assumptions about someone’s identity.
Remain alert to suspicious behaviour, hostile reconnaissance, attempts to test security, unusual interest in restricted areas, unattended items and suspicious vehicles. Apply your ACT training and current venue procedures.
Suspicious item
Do not touch, move or use a radio immediately beside a suspicious item if the local procedure warns against it. Create distance, prevent others approaching where safe and report through the emergency route.
