Arrive Ready to Operate
Safe delivery begins before gates open. Know the assignment, arrive prepared and understand what is expected of you.
Check PARiM and current joining instructions, arrive with enough time to book on and attend briefing, wear the correct uniform and carry required equipment. Never rely on instructions from a previous event because layouts, risks, passes, timings and emergency arrangements can change.
Briefing+
Know your position, supervisor, call-sign, duties, crowd profile, prohibited items, emergency routes and escalation process.
Position discipline+
Remain at your allocated position until relieved or formally redeployed. Unauthorised position swaps can leave safety-critical gaps.
Professional conduct+
Be visible, approachable and alert. Avoid phones, unnecessary conversations, eating or other distractions while operational.
Fitness for duty+
Report anything that may affect your ability to work safely. Never attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
