“SCOT FC was created due to so many players wanting to play but the fees where too high or their ability wasn’t good enough for other clubs. We made it our mission to be the cheapest around so more and more kids could be active and do what they love. Everyone is welcome regardless of needs, ability or background and we try our ultimate best to listen and adapt to all players needs and love watching them grow. The under 12s have worked harder than ever this season and placed 3rd in their division but most importantly reached the challenge plate finals. Each year, the colourful parade kicks off at Millennium Square, winding its way through the city streets and culminating on Lower Briggate by The Calls, where the festivities begin. The parade is not only a celebration of pride and solidarity, but also a significant economic driver, contributing an estimated £3.8 million to the city centre. Last year saw the biggest ever parade with over 167 organisations in attendance throughout the day. Leeds Pride now attracts people from all over the UK and overseas, whilst still remaining free for all to attend.

The striking artwork transforms the space with a giant Billy Bantam, the Bradford City crest, and a rallying “C’mon City!”, bringing energy and pride to one of the University of Bradford Stadium’s busiest areas.

As part of the club’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the matchday experience, the mural aims to create a more welcoming and engaging environment.

The mural will be on display for supporters to enjoy at the club’s next home fixture with Harrogate Town on February 8, with families encouraged to enter Valley Parade via the new Billy’s Family Entrance (Turnstiles W11-W14).

This weekend we had staff deployed at various locations around the Yorkshire region.

York City finished the weekend top of the Vanarama National League after a 5-3 win against Hartlepool United. We had a large deployment at York LNER Community Stadium, which all went extremely well.

The Alhambra Theatre had a visit from the Purple Flag for their audit. Fingers crossed it goes well for the City of Bradford and their night time economy.

On Sunday we had a number of our team deployed in Bradford for Remembrance Sunday on behalf of the Lord Mayor of Bradford.

A great working relationship with all partners involved ensured the went ran smoothly and no issues reported.

Controlled Space has agreed a one-year deal, enabling it to continue providing matchday and event security at the University of Bradford Stadium.

The Controlled Space team have been working to keep supporters safe at Valley Parade for almost 10 years, recently increasing their backing of the club with digital and physical branding at the stadium.

Controlled Space managing director Steve Johnson said: “Bradford City AFC is a highly-valued client who we are honoured to be working with again. 

“We have a committed team, dedicated to serving the club who work alongside their staff. The welfare of supporters, staff, players and everyone involved in the club is our priority. This ensures everyone can enjoy matches to the full, in a safe and secure environment.”

City’s chief commercial officer, Davide Longo, said: “We are pleased to be welcoming Controlled Space on board as an associate partner.

“We have been working with Controlled Space strategically for a number of years, with them looking after our matchday and event security provisions at the University of Bradford Stadium.

“We are pleased they are now in a position to increase their backing of the club to the next level, and are looking forward to the future of working together.”
